Arrival and Check-In
After an enjoyable stay at the Secrets Divine resort, we headed over to Marriott Royalton Chic Cancun. Known for its vibrant party atmosphere and luxurious accommodations, this resort is part of the Autograph Collection and boasts a well-deserved five-star rating.
This was our second visit; our first trip in December 2021 left us with cherished memories, and we were eager to create new ones. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and guided to the private Diamond Club Lounge for check-in, thanks to our Diamond Club booking.
The Diamond Club Experience
You may wonder, is “Diamond Club Worth It?” Booking a Diamond Club room comes with several perks, including a private check-in, exclusive lounge access, and a dedicated butler service. We were quickly checked in and received our key bracelets, ready to explore the resort. The Diamond Club Lounge offered snacks and drinks, although the selection was limited on our first day due to the buffet being closed.
Our butler gave us a comprehensive tour of the resort, highlighting exclusive areas such as the Diamond Club pool with premium liquor, and a shallow pool with in-water chairs.

Luxurious Accommodations
We had the pleasure of staying in the Luxury Ocean Front Suite, an upgrade from our original booking. The suite was spacious and elegantly designed, offering stunning ocean views. The room featured a comfortable bar area with a selection of spirits, although the refrigerator was not stocked upon arrival (it was later filled).
The bathroom was impressively large, equipped with a Jacuzzi tub that we used multiple times during our stay. The suite also had a sizable balcony, perfect for relaxing and taking in the breathtaking scenery.
Dining Options
The resort offers a variety of dining options, including in-room dining. The breakfast menu includes English and continental options, while lunch and dinner feature a selection of pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. However, with numerous all-inclusive restaurants available, you might find yourself enjoying meals at the pool or the themed dinners offered nightly.

Pool and Beach Fun
One of the highlights of our stay was the pool and beach area. As Diamond Club members, we had access to the exclusive Diamond Pool and Beach Lounge. The pool bar served premium alcohol, adding a touch of luxury to our relaxation time. The beach, although sometimes affected by seaweed, offered clear waters and beautiful views.
For adventure seekers, the resort provides activities like paragliding and other water sports. These can be easily booked through the front desk.
Evening Entertainment
The resort comes alive at night with a variety of activities. Guests can enjoy nightly shows and a vibrant nightclub atmosphere, perfect for dancing and socializing. The energy and entertainment options ensure there’s never a dull moment at Marriott Royalton Chic Cancun.
