Are you planning a trip to Mount Fuji and need a place to stay? We faced the same dilemma when we visited. With three of us traveling together, we wanted to save money by booking just one room. But finding a good, affordable hotel near Mount Fuji was tough. Many were too pricey or looked run-down. It seemed like the nicer ones were way out of our budget. After lots of searching and trying different places, we found our gem: the Fuji Marriott Hotel Lake Yamanaka. It had everything we wanted – stunning views, comfy rooms, and friendly service. We loved it and think you will too!

4 Star Hotel & Mid-Range Price

Finding accommodation for three people within a reasonable budget near Mount Fuji proved to be quite the challenge. With the cost of booking two rooms being prohibitively expensive and the scarcity of single rooms accommodating three individuals, we were left searching for alternatives. After thorough research, we discovered that the Marriott hotel offered tatami rooms suitable for more than three people, thanks to its pet-friendly hotel room. This solution was exactly what we needed, and we were delighted to find that the total cost for our party of three, including taxes, amounted to just $244. Plus, the added bonus of being able to stack Marriott points made our stay even more rewarding!

Onsen Experience in Mount Fuji ♨️

Whenever I book a hotel, I always prioritize finding a place with an onsen so I can truly relax and unwind before heading home. Marriott offers both public and private onsen options to suit your preferences. I had a wonderful time enjoying the public onsen with my mom – it was such a serene and rejuvenating experience. And for those seeking a more intimate soak, Marriott also offers hotel rooms with private onsen tubs right next to your bed. It’s the perfect way to indulge in some well-deserved relaxation!

Pet Friendly Hotel 🐾

The Fuji Marriott Hotel warmly welcomes your furry companions, as it’s a pet-friendly establishment. When booking, consider opting for a tatami room, where your pet can feel right at home. They go the extra mile to cater to your pet’s needs, offering amenities like pet cages, water, snacks, and more. Plus, the hotel’s surroundings boast plenty of picturesque spots where you can enjoy leisurely walks and quality time with your beloved pets.

You Can Plan to Visit Mount Fuji Next Morning

I bet the main reason you’re visiting the Mount Fuji area is to catch a glimpse of the majestic mountain itself! And one of the best ways to do that is by riding the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway. Trust me, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss. My advice? Get there early in the morning when it opens around 9 AM. That means setting your alarm clock for an early wake-up call, but it’s totally worth it. The closer your hotel is to the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, the more time you’ll save on travel. From the Fuji Marriott Hotel, it only took us a 30-minute drive to get there. For us, it wasn’t too far out of the way since we were planning to pass by the area the next morning anyway – so it worked out perfectly!

Conclusion

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Fuji Marriott Hotel. It offered great value for the price and provided a comfortable and pleasant experience overall. The only downside was one particular day when a tour bus arrived, bringing over 100 people to the lobby. While this may not be a regular occurrence, it’s something to keep in mind when booking any 3 to 4-star hotel. Despite the crowded lobby, the rest of our stay was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I hope you have a fantastic time on your upcoming trip!
