Glai Baan is located in Phoenix, Arizona. This restaurant focuses on street food and snacks that you would commonly find while visiting Thailand. Most of their dishes are best shared, and many dishes are from the Isan region (northeastern), where they prefer their food spicy. They source their produce and meat locally when possible and avoid using MSG.

Top 5 Dishes You Must Try
Kanom jeeb – Steamed local pork dumplings / scallion / ginger soy.
It resembles the traditional Chinese dumpling, Shumai, but its taste sets it apart, making it worth a try.
Silom Road Moo ping (pork skewers) – Local pork shoulder / soy sauce / coconut milk / garlic / jaew dipping sauce
It was not only delicious but also perfect for sharing with a group of people.
Peek gai tod (chicken wing) – crispy marinated chicken wings / jaew sauce / crispy garlic chip
Chicken was super crispy!
Ka na moo grob – stir fried Chinese broccoli / crispy pork belly / son in law egg / rice
This dish became an instant favorite for my fiance. The pork was delightfully crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and tender on the inside.
Pad kee mao – protein / Chinese broccoli / chili / garlic / Thai basil / mushroom / bamboo shoot / egg / rice noodle
Pandan Custard with Steamed Bread – Pandan is a tropical plant with long leaves used in Southeast Asian cuisine for its sweet, floral flavor and aroma. It adds a vibrant green color to dishes and is commonly used in desserts, drinks, and savory dishes.
Sometimes, they may not serve it, but if they do, I strongly recommend trying it since pandan is not a common ingredient in the United States. It is very tasty, and my fiancé and I even fought over this food. 😅
