Hey there! We recently revisited the VIP Lounge by Mera located at Cancun International Airport. In this post, we’ll be sharing our lounge experience, providing some useful information, and showing you some lounge footage from Terminal 4 NAC and the international terminal 4.
If you like to check our youtube video, we have more detailed information with footages so make sure to check it out!
Getting There
Once you pass through security and the shopping zone at the airport, you will see signs directing you to the lounges. There are two Mera business lounges in this terminal. We recommend going to the international lounge, as your departure gate is likely closer. The NAC lounge caters more to domestic flights, so it might be further away.
Accessing the Lounge
To access the lounge, you need to present your flight ticket and one of the following cards to enter without any additional cost:
- American Express Platinum Card
- Other specified cards
Vinny and I both have the American Express Platinum Card, so we presented it and gained free entry. If you don’t have one of these cards, you can still access the lounge by paying $45 USD per person. Children under two years old can enter for free.
What to Expect
The VIP Lounge by Mera offers a comfortable and relaxing environment where you can unwind before your flight. The amenities include:
- Complimentary food and beverages
- Free Wi-Fi
- Comfortable seating areas
- Charging stations for your devices
- A selection of newspapers and magazines
- Sleeping pods in terminal 4 international (NAC does not have sleeping pods)
Conclusion
The VIP Lounge by Mera at Cancun International Airport is a great place to relax and enjoy some comfort before your flight. Whether you gain access through your card or by paying the entrance fee, the experience is well worth it. Safe travels and enjoy your lounge time!
