We personally used local rental car company “Avant Rent A Car”. We had a great experience. They pick us up from the airport and processed the paperwork smoothly. It cost os $250 for 5 days including all taxes, fees, and insurance.

If you are only hanging out in the Hotel Zone, this is a great option. We took a bus from the Hotel Zone area and went to the mall. It was fun, but please expect quite a bit of walking depending on which resort you are staying at.
